Books

I got a $20 gift certificate from my Secret Pal for amazon.com. I really need yarn, but they only have what is offerred via joann.com. Nothing is really popping out at me for tank tops. I wish I had waited on all those needles!

Anyway, I have these books below (from memory, so its pretty muddy). How should I round out my collection? Keep in mind I don't want to go too over my budget since I'll have to pay s/h and that stuff unless I make it over $25, which is still $5 over anyway.

Stitch 'N Bitch: The Knitter's Handbook
Stitch 'n Bitch Nation
Last-Minute Knitted Gifts
Weekend Knitting
Knit Wit
365 Knitting Stitches a Year Perpetual Calendar
The Knitter's Companion (The Companion Series)
The Knitting Goddess
The Knitting Sutra
The Yarn Girls' Guide to Simple Knits
The Principles of Knitting
Knit Socks!
Knit Baby Head & Toes!
Reader's Digest Knitting

Books I'm thinking about:
Socks Soar on Two Circular Needles
Knitting Over The Edge
Knitting on the Edge
Charted Knitting Designs: A Third Treasury of Knitting Patterns (Damn $30)
The Knitters Bible
1000 Great Knitting Motifs
Knitting Without Tears
Knitting in Plain English

I have both Knitting On The Edge and Knitting in Plain English if you want to take a look. I like Knitting On The Edge, not impressed with Knitting In Plain English.

I'm definetly buying Knitting on the Edge at some point, I flipped through it again on Saturday and its a good book.

I'd say Knitting Without Tears. Every knitter has got to have an Elizabeth Zimmerman book, right? I have it, and I'm ashamed to say I haven't read it yet.

Here's my 2 cents:
Socks Soar on Two Circular Needles
(I've heard don't bother - I got info from my swap partner on 2 socks on 2 circs I can bring in)
Knitting on the Edge (just looked at it the other day - very cool!)
Charted Knitting Designs: A Third Treasury of Knitting Patterns (Damn $30 - worth it, it's HUGE)
Knitting Without Tears (I have, you are welcome to borrow and review)
Knitting in Plain English (heard it wasn't so good)
