I'm better and left the hospital this morning. The trip to Walgreens sucked, but it would have been worse without pain pills. Hehe! As aergern stated, the surgeon is pretty sure it isn't cancer, but official tests results come back late next week.
They did give me a cool travel mug, and I got leg massages. Glad to be out, even if my throat does say "YES" on it and I can't get the damn marker off. The staff was really awesome, I'm so glad. Also, my loving husband bought me pizza for dinner. Hey, I don't think I can eat nachos for a few days, so this was the best choice dammit!
Do you know how hard it is to knit with a numb thumb? Sheesh. I think that some of the numbing agent for the IV hit a nerve or something. Boo!
Now for another nap.

I'm glad you're okay! You mean you can't knit with one hand? Better get out that croch*t hook!
I'm so glad you made it back alright. Get lots of rest and don't push that thumb too hard or it'll hurt once it comes back from the numb.
