Oops.

I didn't mean to sound cryptic or confuse people in my last post. The words "Knitters Review" were a link to what I was so peeved about.

Link here.

Just the old "I'm allergic to wool, but not merino/whatever else that is wooly" crap.

In other news, I'm not knitting much. I'm bored with my feather and fan thing, and I really want to start that Stitch Diva sweater. Grr. This week supposedly. But then I have to buy the yarn. Figures.

Hey, what can I say, it's monday. At least I have cookies. Mmm...cookies!

A "hole" lot of options. I'm wondering if it is like a dairy allergy. My MIL is allergic to tons more (according to her) than my friend who has had a dairy allergy since childhood. They both say they're allergic to dairy, only one can eat butter and one can't. Or the "vegetarian" debate over whether you are a a vegetarian if you eat seafood. I can see where it's frustrating to you, being of the "nothing remotely resembling wool or I'll die" persuasion rather than the "something wooly makes my hands red" persuasion. Not to mention sometimes it's just what they treat the wool with that they are allergic to, and not the wool itself. I've definitely given up on forums that I hear a lot of my pet peeves at too (you know, the vegetarian thing or "we're pregnant") but I hope it doesn't keep you from knitting and the knitting community!

I read the post, boy it must be frustrating, some people just don't get it!
My brother has been a vegetarian(vegan) since he was 7 and still my mum cooks him fish! His 42 years old!
But you use some very interesting fibres and have made me investigate alternatives too wool.
Its funny these last couple of days a lot fo my friends and I are having 'grrr' days. Nothing fits, I hate all my clothes, this colour is crap, etc!
So I baked and ate cookies too!!

Mmm, cookies! I don't see what the big deal is about traditional wool. I know there are different levels of allergies, but don't fret! There are so many other fibers available today...
